Score It! ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information we collect

When you create an account and use Score It!, we collect:

• Account data:your name (or display name) and email address.
• Game data:match results, scores, player records, and group membership you enter into the app.
• Device data:push notification tokens (if you grant permission) to send you match updates and reminders.
• Usage data:basic analytics such as app version and crash reports, collected automatically to help us improve the service.

We do not collect payment information, precise location, or any sensitive personal data.

How we use your information

• Provide, operate, and improve the Score It! app and website.
• Send push notifications you have opted into (match results, leaderboard changes).
• Respond to support requests.
• Detect and prevent abuse or technical issues.

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Data sharing

We share data only with infrastructure providers necessary to run the service:

• Expo / EAS:push notification delivery.
• Amazon Web Services:server hosting and file storage.

All providers are contractually obligated to process your data only as instructed by us.

Public standings

Table admins can enable a shareable standings link. Anyone with a Score It! account who has that link can view the group leaderboard. You can ask your table admin to disable this at any time.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@scoreit.fun. We will process the request within 30 days.

Security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

Children

Score It! is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
